THIS ONE IS FOR YOU ⬇️

If you struggle to handle your child’s emotional outbursts…

The missing piece for a lot of parents that I work with is this
⬇️⬇️⬇️

🧩 Having the confidence to say no AND then being able to support their child through their disappointment and anger with patience and empathy.

In fact most of us struggle with this because we didn’t have parents that could do this for us when we were little.

➡️ So with the mum I mentioned in this video

We worked on her ability to be her sons ‘Emotion Coach’

Which basically means helping him THROUGH his meltdowns instead of avoiding them (by not setting limits) or making them stop because she was struggling to know what to do.

When she felt more capable of handling the meltdowns she then felt more confident about setting limits and saying NO.

🔥The results…..her son got better at handling his frustration and she was able to be the firm, fair and loving parent that she wanted to be.

YEY!!! 🤸🤸🏽‍♂️🤸‍♀️

🤗 Emotion coaching is also the way we develop our child’s emotional intelligence and self regulation skills

So if this is something you want to be able to do or get better at…

‘How To Be Your Child’s Emotion Coach’

Just type ‘COACH’ in the comments and I will send the link right over.
